Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı stated that the FATİH project will be implemented in military schools not only as software but also with its content

Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı and Deputy Chief of Staff General Yaşar Güler have signed a protocol foreseeing implementation of the FATİH project in military schools that includes distributing tablets to students.

Speaking at the ceremony held on the occasion of the signing of the protocol, Minister Avcı noted that the two major education communities namely Ministry of National Education and the Turkish General Staff have come together in this ceremony marking a very deep cooperation although it may not seem big in terms of scale.

“We have organized this ceremony on the occasion of singing a protocol foreseeing the usage of the FATİH project in the Turkish Armed Forces not only as software but also in terms of its content,” Minister Avcı said.

Noting that the Turkish army and especially military schools have contributed to the development, establishment and spread of innovation and recent technologies throughout the history of Turkey, Minister Avcı went on to say:

“The Turkish Armed Forces maintains its tradition and offers the most recent technologies and information to the service of officer and petty officer designates especially during their education. As the Ministry of National Education, we have prepared this protocol in an effort to give our support as a part of the FATİH protect to this effort,” he said.

Minister Avcı voiced his wish that this protocol will be a blessing for the future commanders of the country.

During his speech, Minister Avcı mentioned martyrs who have lost their lives in the recent terrorist attacks and he offered his condolences to the families of martyrs and said that he was grateful to the veterans.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of General Staff stated, “We are very happy to be a part of the FATİH project which has been carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of National Education as a part of its services to the future of young people of our country. As Turkish Armed Forces, we are doing our best to raise the future commanders of Turkey in line with the requirements of the century.”

General Güler thanked Minister Avcı and voiced his wish that the project will be a blessing  for the whole country.

Later, Minister Avcı and General Güler signed the protocol foreseeing distribution of tablets in military schools.
