INTERNATIONAL VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIA HIGH SCHOOLS WILL BE INAUGURATED

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy signed a cooperation protocol with the @TCkulturturizm concerning the inauguration of international Vocational and Technical Anatolia High Schools.

The protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism aims at enrolling international students in the international vocational and technical Anatolia high schools planned to be inaugurated in Türkiye.
 
Minister of National Education Mahumt Özer said during his speech at the protocol ceremony signed in the National Library Conference Hall that cooperation between two ministries provide them the opportunity to raise children who adapt values, culture, knowledge and wisdom of this soil and have a say in the name of humanity.
 
Özer noted that his Ministry has taken important steps in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a part of different projects.
 
"We have founded fine arts high schools in every city of our country. We also reshaped existing fine arts schools and we continue to work in an effort to provide quality of education in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism" said Özer.
  
Vocational education carries out innovative projects in R&D centers
Stating that R&D centers established in vocational education institutions have been carrying out innovative projects and registered many patents, brands, useful brands and designs, Minister Özer said, "Vocational education institutions are exporting their products to other countries. We also started an important transformation in the vocational education centers. The amendment in the Vocational Education Law No. 3308 has a positive impact in the improvement of these centers."
 
Minister Özer also mentioned that 7 international vocational and technical Anatolia High Schools were inaugurated for Turks living abroad and related communities.  
 
"Quality of education will increase when we reinforce the relationship between the education and culture"
Meanwhile, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy noted that they did not make any distinction between culture and education adding that, "Quality of education will increase when we reinforce the relationship between education and culture."
 
Ersoy said that they signed the protocol with the purpose of responding to labor market demands of Turks living abroad and related communities through vocational and technical education.
 
"Children of these communities will be enrolled in vocational and technical Anatolia high schools located in Ankara, Balıkesir, Bursa, İstanbul, Konya and Ordu," stated Ersoy.
  
Context of the protocol
As a part of the protocol, 60 students from six Balkan states namely Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina will be enrolled in the selected schools in the 2022-2023 school year.
 
İnternational students will be enrolled in İstanbul Beşiktaş İSOV Dinçkök , Bahçelievler İMMİB Erkan Avcı, Balıkesir İvrindi Nurettin Çarmıklı Madencilik, Konya Selçuklu Mehmet Tuza Pakpen, Bursa Tophane, Ordu Altınordu TOBB and Ankara Gölbaşı Mogan Vocational and Technical Anatolia High Schools.
 
Students will receive mechanical and design technology, renewable energy technologies, mining technology, industrial automation technologies, electric electronic technology and food and beverage services.
