OECD: DEVELOPMENTS IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF TÜRKİYE IN THE LAST 20 YEARS MUST BE AN INSPIRATION FOR THE REGION

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) General Secretary Mathias Cormann stated that Türkiye achieved important developments in education in the last 20 years and this should be an inspiration to other countries in the region.

Following his meeting with Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer in Paris, OECD General Secretary Mathias Cormann made an announcement in his social media account.

He said, "Great catch up with Minister Özer. Over the past 2 decades PISA shows Türkiye significantly improved school enrolments and outcomes, particularly for upper secondary students and girls. More to do, but the success of Türkiye should be an inspiration for others in the region."
