REMEDIAL TRAINING AT THE ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATIONS MUSEUM

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism that has been supporting the "I Am In the Remedial Training, Too" program of the Ministry of National Education and continues to work together with students in different activities varying from museum training programs to workshops and from interviews to movie hours. Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy accompanied students who attended the visit to the Anatolian Civilizations Museum as a part of the "I Am In the Remedial Training, Too" program.

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy got together with 5th, 6th and 7th grade students from Şereflikoçhisar district during a visit to Anatolian Civilizations Museum as a part of the remedial training program.
 
Anatolian Civilizations Museum Education Department Activity Manager Asuman Alpagut explained the activities planned for students.
 
Ministers Selçuk and Ersoy visited the museum with students and made statements to the press at the end of the visit.
 
Stating that remedial training program is carried out with full speed in the entire country, Selçuk said that students visited museums as a part of his Ministry's cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
 
"This activity is study based on experience and practice. More than 200 thousand of our teachers attended museum training programs carried with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
 
"Similar activities continue at museums in all cities of the country"
Selçuk noted that teachers who have completed museum training programs carry out activities as a part of the remedial training program adding that, "Similar activities continue at museums in all cities of the country with the support of Minister Ersoy. Actually, this activity is directly related to social science and other lessons. We are expecting that our students will internalize this culture and improve themselves with the excitement of these visits."
 
Meanwhile, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stressed both ministries have been carrying out productive projects especially in the field of tourism and museum activities and added that he was proud to be a part of the "I Am In the Remedial Training, Too" program.
 
Summer term activities will continue until August 31
The Ministry of National Education has been organizing author-reader meetings, interviews, training programs about sewing, relief, carpet, stone painting, puppet making, Turkish handicrafts and decorative arts with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
 
Choir practices, mobile libraries, movie hours, mobile museum and theatre visits are also among other activities carried out as a part of remedial training program. Theatre troupes will stage different plays in every region of the country. Summer term activities will continue until August 31.
